1927 Peerless 6-80 Sedan
One of the three “P”s (Packard, Peerless and Pierce Arrow)
Not very many of these cars are still around.
Condition: fair, needs total restoration
Cylinders: 6 cylinders, has the original Continental six in it.
Paint color: grey, some primer
Title status: clean title
I have the original title from 1932 as well as the VIN plate that was screwed to the wood floor.
As far as I know, the body was built by Fisher Body.
This car is a sedan model 6-80. I have attached a few photos. It has a “French Roof” which I think is not too common. As you can see there is surface rust only. The running boards and aprons would need to be remade, fairly simple sheet metal work. The fenders have the usual cracks at the bead that were welded by someone before I purchased the car. All the wood needs to be replaced. It is complete except for the spare tire lock and the aprons which are easily made as there is only one curve direction. I have the glass including the windshield and all of the window regulators. The outer body molding is all there but needs to be straightened. The engine turns by hand and the frame was painted when I got the car, though it probably needs repainting. I found the correct carburetor. Bumpers are not shown but are with the car. The body trim is not attached but comes with the car. There is a transmission foot depressed lock that locks the transmission and is unlocked with a key. I don’t have the key. This car would be a fun restoration as it is a 98% complete car and would be a fun driver. It was one of the first cars to come equipped with hydraulic brakes.
I also have these extra parts:
Engine-Continental six cylinder, radiator, radiator shell, headlight buckets with lenses, dashboard, wheels, front and rear axles, steering wheel with steering column. Price for these items is not included in the price of the car, but we can negotiate if you would like to purchase these extra parts with the car.
This car is actually located in the United States. Grass Valley, CA. to be specific. I had to list London as the location in order to get CraigsList to accept the listing and post to the London area.
You should not buy this car without an inspection. I recommend either you or your U.S. representative come and look at the car.
I am asking 3200.00 GBP
